Sydney Paige: I’m a figment of your computer’s imagination that is occasionally sentient. I also have trouble answering questions in a serious manner. Also without profanity. I’m not professional.

Sydney Paige: Dork. The dorkiest of dorks. Then I became a suuuper emo kid that played in bands and stuff. I’m from the middle of nowhere, so at that point I got to be cool because I was a “rocker” kid going to a Christian High school. I was actually homecoming queen 3 times. How? No fucking idea. I was also a cheerleader and shit. A real mixed-bag of a kid.

Sydney Paige: I started stripping the week after I turned 18. I moved out really early, so a girl needed a dollar, basically. I was working at Ihop and Sonic while still trying to go to school. It wasn’t working. I found camming and porn about 6 years into dancing and dipped my toe in, but went back to dancing for 2 years before I decided to just dive into the digital world.

How did you create the name?

Sydney Paige: Sydney and Paige were my stripper names. I travel danced during and after undergrad and I would just use whichever name that the club didn’t already have. Easy peasy.

Sydney Paige: The obvious answer is the money- but what I like best is the flexibility of schedule. Fuck you, 9am traffic.

Sydney Paige: Engaged to my cat? Honestly, probably still here and hopefully more successful. I’m still pretty young and have a great team of doctors LOL

Sydney Paige: Alright- so this one was a big flip-flop for me. Again, I’m from the bible belt. When I first got outted as a stripper, I got so stressed out that I broke out in hives. It sent me down a major rabbit hole. However, I’m a huge believer in therapy and pushing societal norms so after all of that happened, I went on a major, “YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK YOU!” about the whole thing. My whole family knows. My in-laws know. My friends know. Hell, the girl that does my hair knows. I just really don’t care anymore.

My Favorite Pornstar: Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot and if so how did you handle it?

Sydney Paige: Nope. I’m not grossed out easily. I have been confused though… man… those cricket and fish vore videos.

My Favorite Pornstar: What is the weirdest thing that you’ve been asked to do during a shoot?

Sydney Paige: It may not seem weird to some people, but I’m still weirded out with the Vore shoots with live bugs and fish. It’s not that I think it’s gross or wrong- I think that it’s because I just don’t get it. Everything else I can kind of wrap my head around… but not that one… Someone please explain that to me.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?

Sydney Paige: IT IS NOT AS EASY AS YOU THINK. Oh my God… so many people think that this is something that you can just hop into and make a bunch of cash and hop right back out of and it is 0% true. This is some hard work. This is 24 hour work. Also yes, it will affect the rest of your life. Make sure it’s really what you want. Read blogs. Talk to people. Go on a camsite and get a private and talk to the girl. I’ve had people do that with me and I think that is SO SMART. Get your information!

My Favorite Pornstar: What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?

Sydney Paige: I’m a musician, I like to garden, I read voraciously, I like to hike… I’m pretty boring, really.

I’m proud of it because I shot for a studio for the very first time when I thought when I was 18 that my time would be up. I’ve gotten so much better with age, man. Sydney Paige: I would also ask them how they got into porn. I’m always so fascinated by background stories. We are all so different- it’s amazing. A lot of people assume it’s a necessity thing and for me, it totally was- but I’ve met so many amazing performers that have gotten into it for the love of the work, for research and then just loved it, people that just randomly fell into it… I love origin stories
