Tell us a bit about yourself.

Bobby Grey: I’m originally from NYC (the Bronx) and finished school from Junior high to college in Delaware. While in college I studied Criminal Justice, and joined Army ROTC. After college I was commissioned into the US Army as an officer. I served 11½ years, active duty.

How did you start within the industry?

Bobby Grey: I actually started off on the mainstream side of acting, where I would do some rolles in t.v, short films, voice-over and so on. I’ve always had an interest, love and respect for pornography, as it is a very beautiful and expressive art. I was looking at getting into porn when I was 19, but at that time (the late 90’s) I was very hesitant, due to what society what society would say about people in the porn industry.

So I stayed in the army, and throughout the years I always had that voice in the back of my head telling me to go into porn. In December of 2019 I created my Twitter page and started to look at AVN week. For 2020 and my plan was to go and enjoy the expo, and hopefully meet some people. While I was on Twitter I came across a post that was an opportunity for people who were serious about getting into the business. I looked up their content and then I reached out to the person in charge. We connected from there, and he said to me “If you are truly serious, go get tested, make your way out to Las Vegas and I’ll give you a shot.”

How did you create the name?

Bobby Grey: I was going through several names in my head, and I remembered the movie 50 Shades of Grey, and the character Christian Grey. I really liked the last name, and I didn’t want to copy the first name. I wanted to come up with something different. So as I was thinking of names, I thought of people that I read about in history, and one of them was Bobby Kennedy. So I put those two name together, and it just fit perfectly for me. And the studio that gave me that first opportunity was TadPoleXStudio, and my first scene was with Kendra Heart.

What do you want to become a pornstar?

Bobby Grey: I love women I’m really good at sex, and adult entertainment is a beautiful art form. A raw and passionate way of telling sexual stories to those adults out there in the world who enjoy this form of entertainment, and storytelling.

Tell us about your first shoot? Was it what you expected?

Bobby Grey: Interesting and really good question. I really didn’t know what to expect, as I know that the sets would have the scene partners, director, and possibly other crew members. When I arrived, TadPole thanked me, as I was the only guy (out of 6) that actually got tested and flew out to Las Vegas for the shoot. And TadPole said “Hey Bobby, I appreciate you showing up, it was suppose to be a gangbang, but you were the only one that showed up. So you’re the man tonight.” I was not expecting that. Haha.

TadPole introduced me to Kendra Heart, and she was the consummate professional, beautiful, sexy and sweet. She took great care of me on set, and helped guide me through my first scene, an absolute professional.

Since then, I have worked with starlets and studios, such as Aria Carson, Nadia White, Sofie Marie, Ciren Verde, Cassie Bender, Amy Quinn, Mrs. Dawson, Yummy Girls, Quinn Studios, Privatey Society etc… I also attended, and worked my first ever adult expo at the recent 2021 Chicago Exxxotica. At 40 years old, I’m staying focused on this new chapter in my life, while being humble, hungry, focused and grateful.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

Bobby Grey: In 5 years, I see myseslf as a successful pornstar, continuing to create content for men and women to enjoy, and building a portfolio/resume of great and amazing talent that I got the opportunity to work with. As well as doing my part (whatever that may be) in helping to guide future talent that I interact with, in the porn industry.

What’s your favorite sexual position on & off camera & why?

Bobby Grey: Missionary. I love being intertwined with a beautiful women, and having her legs on my shoulders as we are kissing, and staring into each others eyes. That position is very intimate and allows both partners to be romantically engaged with each other.

Are there any sex acts that you want to shoot?

Bobby Grey: MFF. I’m looking forward to when I do my first MFF scene.

Which pornstar would you most like to work with?

Bobby Grey: Another great question. That’s a really tough one, as there are many incredibly talented, and beautiful women in adult entertainment. Right now it would be a three-way tie between Adriana Chechik, Abella Danger, and Kali Roses.

What would you change about the adult industry?

Bobby Grey: What would I change? With all that has been going on in the adult entertainment business for decades, such as racism, sexism, abuse of powers, and so on. I may not necessarily have to change anything specific, as we are in the era of modern-day feminism, Black Lives Matter, and the LGBTQ movement.

I think it is more so of what I can contribute to to helping ring those movements and initiatives within was in the porn industry. And a big part would be for me to be as good of an example that I can be, in displaying the image of of what an intelligent and beautiful black man looks like. We come in all different types of looks but one of the main looks that many people many people are infatuated with is the more street look a black man versus the Obama, Dr. King type of look.

Throughout the years in porn (and the world of entertainment for that matter), we have seen more more white men displayed with a corporate look, and black men displayed mostly with a street look. I don’t blame the porn industry entirely, as it is more of the responsibility of me and my people to show more of who we are. It is obvious that black people, we come in all shades, and so too we come with different backgrounds, mindsets, and looks.

*helping those movements and initiatives within the porn industry.

Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?

Bobby Grey: I’m aware, but it doesn’t bother me, as I have taken the time throughout the years (before I got into porn) to do some research on the industry, the pros and cons, and so forth. There are people in what we call the regular world, that pretty much do the same thing that porn stars do. Only they do it behind closed doors (at swinger parties and other events that they throw privately), and the only difference is that they may not record it. And if they do, they don’t post rhat content on the internet.

So I guess that makes some people believe that they are better (or cleaner) than pornstars, which is laughable and very hypocritical. They are enjoying their sexual sexual adventures, and fantasies, just as we are. The big difference is that we get tested more often, so in reality, we are cleaner than those people outside of porn who may only get tested once a year, if at all.

If you directed a scene what would it be about and who would feature?

Bobby Grey: It would be about two strangers (with different backgrounds and upbringing) crossing paths, not liking each other at first, but eventually falling in love. Enjoying each other physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. And having some uncontrollable event taking place in one of their lives, knowing that time is now short for their romance, they embrace and cherish the time that they have left with each other.

So many to choose from, but I would definitely choose Jamie Jett, as she has this lovely aura about her, and I see the energy between us vibing really well together.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?

Bobby Grey: I would say maintain your health, as you are the best person to take care of yourself. Watch what you eat and stay away from foods that could slow you down, and that are of no nutritional/beneficial value to you. So if it means changing the diet a little bit here-and-there, or changing it completely, then that is part of the research process that one will have to do for themselves.

Diet is a huge factor when involved in sports and working out, and sex is basically falls in between both of those. Especially for men, watch what you consume (e.g. food, drugs, liquor, supplements, etc..). Drink plenty of water throughout the day, exercise often, get enough sleep and do not lose focus on your goals. I recently change my diet to vegan, and it has done wonders for me. So listen to your body, because your body will not lie to you.

Make sure to get tested often, so you are constantly up-to-date on your status. And when you decide to get into the business, look up Talent Testing Service (TTS) as that is what the industry uses to verify your status, as far as if you’ve had your labs done and you’re clear across the board in regards to STDs (and now COVID as well).

What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?

Bobby Grey: I’m into doing Spartan Races, working out, traveling, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.

Which pornstar do you admire and why?

Bobby Grey: Eric Edwards is one (of many) who I definitely admire. He’s a legend in the business who was shooting from the 1960s through the 2000s. The gentleman of porn, I believe was how he was described by some of his peers. I’ve watched his work, and his interviews, and he has this genuine humbleness about him. This calm and good natured energy, that surrounds his aura. And it’s people like him in the business that I aspire to follow in the footsteps of. To do great work, with many talented people/companies in the industry, and to never lose your essence is a remarkable and noteworthy achievement that I see about his character. He’s definitely top of my list of inspirations.

Do you use sex toys? If so which ones?

Bobby Grey: No, I don’t use sex toys.

Do you watch porn? If so what type?

Bobby Grey: I watch Interracial, creampie, MILF, teen, and orgy porn.

If you were interviewing a pornstar what would you ask them? & answer this question

Bobby Grey: With being a pornstar, do you desire, or welcome, the fame that could potentially come with this profession?

I don’t desire it, as being famous is not a goal of mine. I do welcome it, because if used properly then I know that I can be an asset to the industry by showing people that pornstars and the profession of pornography is not this evil thing that some people/organizations have tried to make it out to be. And using the fame to help contribute to having a strong union in the adult entertainment business. And potentially being using the fame to support those within the industry (veterans and new people alike) that may not have the connections, or resources to help them with professional matters within their careers.

What really turns you on?

Bobby Grey: Kissing. It’s like speaking, but without actually having to say a word. The energy between both people speaks for itself. And it creates such an incredible bond in that moment in time, that it connects us physically and spirituallly. That gets me going.

Who within the adult industry, would you like to nominate to answer these questions?

Bobby Grey: That’s a four way tie for me.
1) TadPoleXStudio, because I did my first scene for his company.
2) Sofie Marie, because her and her husband Spike Irons gave me an opportunity as well.
3) Ciren Verde, because she has a big heart and we shot alot of scenes together.
4) Aria Carson, because we’ve worked together twice so far, and she is one of my industry crushes. Shhhhh, don’t tell her that…haha 😉
