Tell us a bit about yourself.

Ashli Orion: Hi, I’m Ashli, thank you for interviewing me! I’m 37 years old from San Diego, California and I love to fuck! I started in the porn industry 16 years ago and I currently film my own content for OnlyFans and ManyVids. I am married mom of 2 kids and 1 dog.

How did you start in the industry?

Ashli Orion: I was looking for a phone sex operator job on sexyjobs.com and saw an advertisement to do a porn scene for Vivid. I answered the ad and the rest is history!

How did you create the name?

Ashli Orion: At the time a lot of people had told me I reminded them of Ashlee Simpson so I thought Ashlee would be a memorable name. I liked the spelling Ashli so I chose that. I was a raver in high school and my favorite place to go raving was the Orion, so I decided on Ashli Orion. I think looking back I wish I would have thought of something more clever!

Can you tell us about your first shoot?

Ashli Orion: My first shoot was in 2008 for Vivid for “Brand New Faces”. I was so nervous, I sat in my car before the shoot chugging liquor to calm my nerves. Probably not a good idea but I was young and didn’t know any better. The male talent was Rocco Reid, who was very nice and made me feel comfortable. I don’t remember much of the rest but I do remember leaving the shoot thinking, “wow that was awesome! I love porn!”

Can you tell us about your last shoot?

Ashli Orion: My last shoot was in 2013 for Belladonna Entertainment. It was a lesbian scene with Proxy Paige. I knew before that date that it was going to be my last shoot and that I was done with the industry. I was almost 25 years old and wanted to settle down and live a nornal life. The scene was a lot of fun, we fucked each other in the ass with horse dildos. I knew my time was up though and when I said goodbye to everyone on set that day I said goodbye for good.

What do you enjoy most about being a porn star?

Ashli Orion: I really enjoyed the fact that I was able to get paid to have amazing sex in amazing places with amazing people! It was a lot of fun!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Ashli Orion: In 5 years I hope to be living a similar life I am now, doing my best being a mom. I’d love to have a successful OnlyFans, write a book, and hopefully own my own home.

Looking back at your career is there anything that you would do differently?

Ashli Orion: Yes, I definitely would not have partied as hard as I did and maybe took things a little more seriously in regards to finances. But you live and you learn!

Ashli Orion: Thankfully people have been pretty nice to my face about my past and I haven’t had too many haters. I think accepting who I am and what I’ve done and not being ashamed or living in the past has helped me to live a normal life.

What's the weirdest thing that you've been asked to do during a shoot?

Ashli Orion: The weirdest thing was when one of the male talents asked to sniff my armpits before he came. I get it that’s where the pheromones are but it was kind of weird lol!

What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?

Ashli Orion: Don’t be afraid to say no, don’t get into drugs, and make sure you pay your taxes.

Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot?

Ashli Orion: Yes I have many times, I’ve done a lot of gross things. I just pretended that I wasn’t disgusted and continued on lol.

What hobbies and interests do you have outside of the industry?

Ashli Orion: I love going to the beach, hiking with my dog, and being a soccer mom lol. I also love drawing, painting, and making music.
