Tell us a bit about yourself?

Astrid Star: I’m originally from Houston Texas, and I joined the military when I was 18. I’ve lived in California for 10 years, in Southern California. I was an Operations Specialist, in the Navy, for 4 years.

How did you create the name?

Astrid Star: My stage name I created at the time I was in astronomy class, Star because I like the stars and space and the universe. I like the name Astrid, it means ‘Devine’ in Scandinavian and they use it in the Royal family and I like names that are different and stand out.

What are your stats/measurements?

Astrid Star: I’m 34DD and a size 3.

What do you enjoy most about being a porn star?

Astrid Star: I like being able to get creative, make movies and films and meet different people in the industry from all over which is cool.

Do you have any other jobs?

Astrid Star: No, I’m just a veteran, I just mainly work doing shooting and creating content. So when I’m not shooting I’ll shoot for Onlyfans and shoot with other people.

Astrid Star: Not specifically, but I support Veterans, because I’m a Veteran.

Astrid Star: I think I’m different, my styles different and I think I’m real, my personality I’m an honest person. What you see is what you get.

Tell us about your brand.

Astrid Star: My brand, I want to be very close to my fans and honest with my fans and my fans come to me talk to me whenever thye have anything going wrong. I want to have that really close relationship with my fans, I think fans are your support and it’s what builds you and without your fans you wouldn’t really be much.

Astrid Star: I’d say probably the stigma, or when you’re friends or family find out or just being judged by others who don’t really understand the industry.

If you weren't shooting adult content what would you be doing?

Astrid Star: If I wasn’t doing adult movies I’d probably be doing hair and makeup because I have a cosmetology license or still in the military. I got into webcam straight after I left the military.

How do you stay in shape?

Astrid Star: I like staying active, taking walks and walking on the beach.

What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?

Astrid Star: I like to read a lot and learn new things, I like to do research and learn about things.

To date which porn scene are you most proud of?

Talk us through the day in the life of a porn star.

Astrid Star: If you’re having a scene you go to your call times, depending on what time your shoot is. it could be at 9:30 so you head to your shoot, maybe get some coffee before, and get there. Show your I.D. Everybody shows each other their tests, make sure everything’s legitimate. Usually before the scene you’ll get the script or the scenario of the scene, once you start the shoot its kind of natural from there.

Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?

Astrid Star: It bothers me because I think that people are closed minded, and they’re judgemental. People want to judge other people if their lifestyle isn’t exactly like theirs. But I don’t think there should be a stigma around it because its a lot different from what people actually think it is.

Is sex with you off camera different?

Astrid Star: I’d say its pretty similar just because I’ve always been a sexual person and so for me it’s just like a natural to be sexual like this. So for me performing and having sex, I just like having sex. They’re pretty similar.
