Tell us a bit about yourself?

Presley Hart: I am a former porn performer and now I help people perform themselves. I help the world be happy and satisfied with their sex lives, and it’s wonderful. I’m super happy with my life.

Tell us about your first shoot?

Presley Hart: Yes, very, very vividly my first shoot was wonderful it was with Chris Strokes, what a great way to enter into the industry. It was for Reality Kings, for a line called Cumfiesta, very classy I know! But it was so fun! It was such a great way for me to enter into the industry. I was a little bit nervous about how it would go because it’s a first and you don’t really know any of the details. How people are going to treat you, anything is going to run it was just a great experience.

How did you start in the adult industry?

Presley Hart: Yes, I have always been a very sexually active person so much so that my surroundings here (inaudible) shames me, how sexually active I was and I was just really ready to move to a new job. I wanted something that I was going to be really happy doing and it was something that I thought about for a very long time. I didn’t know anybody who was in the industry but I was familiar with porn, obviously and I thought it would be a fun way to spend some time.

Do you remember your last professional production shoot?

Presley Hart: You, know I don’t. Because I don’t think anybody really thinks that’s the last scene. I wasn’t really thinking about coming back but I was planning on doing some traveling I really needed to take some time away for myself. I didn’t like some of the things that were going on in the industry, some of the politics, so I needed a little break. I started doing some traveling it turns out I never really came back. So I never thought that was going to be my last scene.

If you hadn't become an adult performer what would you have done?

Presley Hart: Not long before I started in the adult industry, I was doing event coordinating, I really loved that. However the company that I was working for was not the best, it was just a small company. The owner of it, we had some issues so we went our separate ways. I really think I would have started my own company if I didn’t start in the industry.

Looking back now at your career in the adult industry what would you tell your younger self?

Presley Hart: Be more firm on your boundaries, no body cares the way you care about things and once it’s out it’s out! And you can’t redo things, you can’t take anything back it’s on the internet forever. No that I regret anything that I did I really loved all of my experiences god and less good. But definitely be firmer on my boundaries.

How did the adult industry change from when you started to when you left?

Presley Hart: Drastically! So drastically, when I first started it was like it had a family feel, everybody knew everybody. If anything was going on you got personal phone calls from performers checking in on your wellbeing. By the time I left it felt very cutthroat it was everybody for themselves, it was just less friendly.

Tell us being a penthouse Pet?

Presley Hart: That was probably was my favorite moment in the industry, it was a wonderful shoot, it was a landmark. Everybody wants to be a penthouse Pet, so when I got that call the agency that I was in, we all have our own little individual families and the whole agency was cheering and celebrating. It was really sweet and beautiful and it followed me around. I still get a lot of messages regarding that shoot and wanting autographs for that edition.

Can you tell us about the shot?

Presley Hart: At a ranch, somewhere around the hills of L.A, that day it actually started raining it was all supposed to be outside. But it then started raining on us and it was really, really cold and I was in practically nothing most of the time. Trying to not look cold and be sexy, so it was a little bit challenging but it was fun. I had a team people making me feel awesome and look my best. And it ended the last shoot was a spontaneous shoot because I was so cold, I wanted to get into the warm water. There was this beautiful shower they were just like lets see if it works it works, if it doesn’t we’ll discard it. It was probably my favorite part of the shoot, they’re my favorite pictures from the shoot.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the adult industry?

Presley Hart: Make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons and for me the right reasons are, because you really love the industry. Because you want to express, there are so many reasons to do it, but be careful. If it’s just for the money they can get messy really fast! It’s a slippery slope right! And you can’t undo things. There’s a lot of ways to make money that don’t follow you around forever.

Why did you leave the adult industry?

Presley Hart: I left the industry because I needed a break it was getting a little bit messy, and I needed some time for myself so I started travelling. A lot of travelling around the States, outside of the States a bunch and then decided that I love it so much that I going to continue on this journey. I haven’t gone back, I haven’t been back to the States since.

What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?

Presley Hart: My hobbies, there’s a hobby that I’ve been doing ever since I was a little girl, and I took that hobby and continued it through the industry. I did a series on cam, Naked Knitting. And I still knit, I love knitting so it’s something that I’ve always done and I think that I probably always will. My knitting is my happy place, so I knit a lot when I have down time I love it! I spend the rest of my time on reproductive health.

Sexual wellness coach how did that start?

Presley Hart: That started, two fold in my everyday life the people that I come across it’s a regular conversation that comes up and it’s really surprising how people, or how many women have never had an orgasm. How many women have painful sex, have low libidos it’s so upsetting to me and so common that people just live their lives thinking that’s how it is for them and how it’s going to be.

On the other side I get conversations with men to that they have issues with their libido, getting erection, with maintaining erection, with premature ejaculation. Being in the industry I get so many emails from people with these kind of same questions, it’s everywhere people are struggling with this conversation. nobody’s really talking about it there isn’t really help for people out there.

Has your time within the adult industry helped?

Presley Hart: Yes, definitely my time in the industry has left me I guess being seen as a safe person to talk to about this. Not that I was ever the type of person that people didn’t feel talk to about sex, but since starting in the industry the questions come hot and heavy. On a regular, my inbox is always full with people asking questions, how can I make my sex life better? How can I help my partner achieve orgasm?

Do some people watch porn and think they can learn?

Presley Hart: I think more often than not most people think that porn is some version of reality, and pulling the strings apart and breaking it down, of what goes on to make that scene the way they view it I think is really helpful for people. Like you said it’s not reality, it’s like a movie. You don’t see the cuts what goes on behind the scenes. But if you did you would probably realize that what you’re doing at home is a lot more normal than not.

Is there anything that you would like to add?

Presley Hart: My email’s are always open, I’m really dedicated to helping other people have happy sex lives I feel like it’s the root of everything. If we have happy, healthy sex lives your mood, your environment the way you live your life is going to be better the problems in the world would be less.
