Mimi Oh: Well, I’m Mimi Oh. I’m a nerdy girl who lives in Philadelphia with my boyfriend, Dan, I love all things pink and cute, and I love making porn.

How did you start within the industry?

How did you create the name?
Mimi Oh: It was the name I went by in the cosplay community, so creepy guys didn’t know my real name, and it just felt right to continue using it for my porn career

Mimi Oh: The people I get to meet! I always like to joke about how “the real porn is the friends we made along the way”. Seriously, I’ve gotten to meet some truly amazing and interesting people in my short time in this industry and I hope to meet more!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
Mimi Oh: It’s hard to say, I plan on getting sex reassignment surgery within the next year or two which is basically career suicide for a girl like me, but who knows, maybe people will like me enough to continue booking me for work after that.

Mimi Oh: To be honest it’s something that’s never really affected my life, outside of people thinking that maybe I’m sex crazed because I do porn, not that there’s anything wrong with that but I much prefer a night of watching SNL compilations on YouTube and playing video games.
What’s the weirdest thing that you’ve been asked to do during a shoot?

What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?
Mimi Oh: Don’t be afraid to set boundaries and have a candid conversation about what you’re comfortable, and don’t be afraid to stand your ground about what you’re comfortable with, the right people will understand and accommodate.
Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot and if so how did you handle it?
Mimi Oh: I haven’t been grossed out yet, but who knows how soon that will change.
What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?
Mimi Oh: Well, I’m a huge nerd. I play video games, cosplay, watch anime, read manga, and build Gundam models. I’ve always been a nerdy girl and I hope some day I get to make some hot nerd porn.
