Tell us a bit about yourself.

Lala Ivey: I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area in a full loving home by my grandmother, aunt, five cousins/siblings. I’ve been an adult entertainer for three years and really enjoy what I do. My favorite place to be is home, my horoscope sign is Cancer of July 14, I love Asian foods, and Roses.

Lala Ivey: I am 5’7″, 120lbs, 32C-23-35.

How did you start in the industry?

Lala Ivey: I started adult modeling lingerie and bikinis at eighteen years old, slipped into exotic dancing and just a few months in I’ve met a photographer/director who introduced me to the other side of adult entertainment. I started independently producing my own adult content and webcamming to start before I was signed to perform in professional porn movies.

How did you create the name?

Lala Ivey: “Lala” was a childhood nickname I’ve given myself to shorten my birth name. I originally was going to go with “Ashlee Bryan” but I decided to stick with Lala Ivey since I was already published under this stage name in multiple adult magazines.

What do you enjoy most about being a porn star?

Lala Ivey: Being a porn star really educated me and opened me up about sex, my body, and others. I’ve learned to love myself unconditionally, I know what my body and mind enjoys and what it doesn’t. I’ve definitely enjoy the traveling and meeting great people from around the world.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Lala Ivey: I actually see myself retired, living quietly and comfortable; or traveling full time.

What’s your favorite sexual position on and off camera?

Lala Ivey: My favorite position is doggy on AND off the camera. Doggy feels the most powerful to me no matter size or stroke, and looking at tons of films and photos of myself in this position I believe my arch is amazing.

Which porn star would you most like to work with?

Lala Ivey: I would love to work with Ana Fox, Honey Gold, and Cecilia Lion.

Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot?

Lala Ivey: I was accidentally “snotted” on during a film. We were going and in mid position my scene partner blew snot out his nose and sprayed all over my face. We were sweaty and nasty anyway, so I ignored it and played it off. He brought it up after we finished the scene and we actually laughed about it. I’m not sure if the cameras caught it but if it did I’m sure it didn’t make the final cut.

Are there any sex acts that you want to shoot?

Lala Ivey: Yes, I’m looking into shooting my first double penetration.

Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?

Lala Ivey: Of course, I’ve been affected by the stigma around sex work since I was just adult modeling. I am a pretty lighthearted and positive person. I try to be carefree when it comes to these like this because I actually enjoy what I do. and I know most of the negative reaction i receive comes from the ones insensitive on the what I do.

What’s the weirdest thing that you’ve been asked to do during a shoot?

Lala Ivey: The weirdest thing I have to say was pinch and play with his ears. Weird for me, but I LOVED the way he was getting turned on when I was doing it though!

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to be a porn star?

Lala Ivey: DO YOUR RESEARCH. Asking one or two people about the industry isn’t enough. I say do a lot of googling on everything. I’m a researcher and found myself in great hands and on a good path because of doing my research before hopping into things.Make sure its something you’re willing to stamp yourself with. This is something that becomes apart of you once you do it, even once.

What hobbies and interests do you have outside of the industry?

Lala Ivey: Aside from this my hobbies include music production, and reading. I played the guitar and violin when I was younger and I have been playing piano/keyboard for over five years now. I was in two bands (one orchestra). I also enjoy traveling and hope to do more of it.
