Tell us a bit about yourself?

Jimmy Michaels: My name is Jimmy, I’m 22 years of age, from the small town of Chapel Hill, TN! I have a son that just turned a year old and I love the little moments! I’m a young entrepreneur in the works, I have a couple businesses that I own and operate when I’m not shooting professionally! I love the art of women, I do believe every lady has something beautiful about them that draws people to their circle! I’m a football fanatic on the weekends, TitanUp! Describe yourself growing up?

Jimmy Michaels: I had a bit of a tough childhood. Growing up I am the oldest of six children from six different fathers, we didn’t necessarily get to pick the paths until a little later in our childhood. My mom and dad had split before I was a year old, living with my mom until the age of ten, she had many drug addictions that left us vulnerable and in poverty.

At the age of ten me and my siblings were split up and sent to each of our fathers to get us out of the bad situations we were constantly going through. Once my dad got possession of me he began to be a bit of a mentally abusive alcoholic, this drove my confidence and abilities to do anything straight down. Once in High School I started thinking more for my own and less about everyone around me. I knew I wanted to make a change in my life for the better, with that being said I wouldn’t change anything that had happened because it’s what makes me who I am today.

How did you start within the industry?

Jimmy Michaels: This one is a bit interesting! It was kind of a joke at first, that gradually became a reality for me. I was at a customers home, taking a moment to eat something, I had asked my best friend who worked along side of me what he thought about the industry. He didn’t have a whole lot to say about it, so I started my research on how to get a chance to be in the industry. I searched for a couple days for agents/agencies for a chance to be represented.

I found Hussie Models and I just knew they were the one for me. Out of all the agencies I only applied for Hussie, the next day I got a call from a rep telling me about my future of joining in the industry, if everything were to work out! At the time it was a lot to take in I was running two businesses, I had a child on the way, and had a lot todo before even considering it. I let her know that I would give her a call within the next six months if it was something I wanted to be part of.

Six months later I felt that I had everything under control and ready to move forward at that point. I still had many questions, I talked to Riley my current agent and he made me feel a lot better about everything forward! I had finally made it down to Miami, FL, he made sure to throw me to the wolves with my first scene being with the legendary Sara Jay, great way to enter the industry. Once in the industry I got signed by Brazzers within the first eight days of being in the industry, it was always a dream to be apart of the things they do, I’m happy to be apart of that!

How did you create the name?

Jimmy Michaels: At first I was very unsure, but I wanted it to be catchy while fitting me personally. I asked a couple people and I hated everything they had come up with! So I got to thinking I’m from Tennessee, so it had to be country like name. I picked Jimmy because it really clicked with me, I pondered on my last name for several days before I got thinking about my favorite female pornstars! Growing up Gianni Michaels was my ultimate favorite talent she just had it all and was great at what she accomplished, it felt right so I just used her last name. Unsure how she’d feel about that, but it felt right. So then it was settled I was going to be Jimmy Michaels!

What do you enjoy most about being a pornstar?

Jimmy Michaels: Most people would probably say the sex and money. I’m much different at the stand point. I love the fact that I get to travel quite frequently to places I never thought I’d make it to! Secondly, the people you meet whether that be: talent, agents, directors, CEOs, producers, talent assistants, etc. When it comes down to it you’re never going to know the people you may meet that can either change your life, or progress it in a way you may not yet see. These people and places create sense of accomplishment, and better for ones self confidence and knowing you’re moving forward at the right pace with the right people behind you!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

Jimmy Michaels: That’s a tough one, I’ve said since High School I wanted to be a millionaire and retired by 25. I’m definitely on my way of doing so. With that being said I love my jobs and businesses that I push and the people I meet, so I don’t see myself retired. Working hard and moving forward to be the best version of myself is what I strive to be. It’s hard to say exactly where I’d be because I have so many more things I want to accomplish, and businesses I want to pursue. I hope I’m still a talent in the following five years, with several of my dreams following me!

Each person has their own preferences on how this works, but personally I would rather take a pay cut, in order to collect commissions from each video that I am a part of. It creates a residual income in which helps later on if you were to be put in a position where you’d need it. Sometimes us talent get sick and/or injured we have bills too, if companies really wanted to take care of their talent they would want to make that happen. Smallest commission makes a difference! That’s just me!

Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?

Jimmy Michaels: Honestly once my family accepted the fact of what I was pursuing before I entered the industry, I never really cared what others thought of me. I was just going to go out there give it everything I could and not look back. If anyone has something against I apologize, but I’m going to keep continuing to do me! The only regrets I have are knowing I never tried!

What’s the weirdest thing that you’ve been asked to do during a shoot?

Jimmy Michaels: Feet, I’m definitely not a feet person! I was once asked to lick the bottom of a shoe and I was not up for it. We ended up throwing it out of the script and improvised around it!

What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?

Jimmy Michaels: If I had any advice to give to a new talent, it would be to not chase the clout if it wants you you’ll have it! Be 100% yourself, once people see you for you they begin to respect who you are and what you stand for! Lastly always I mean always take care of your talent on set, don’t let people run over them and this means you as well! Treat everyone how you’d want to be treated and don’t expect anything from them that you wouldn’t do yourself!

What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?

Jimmy Michaels: Outside of the industry, I follow the NFL quite a bit. I’d like to take classes for general management, or scouting I feel like I could fill a large role in the right place! I love to learn, if I’m not learning I’m not in the right places! I’m pretty boring outside of the industry, I just enjoy life to the fullest with the people whom I love and surround myself with! Building businesses are my strong point and get the most enjoyment out of.

Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot and if so how did you handle it?

Jimmy Michaels: Me personally I have not had that moment quite yet. Everyone I work with are super professional and clean! I appreciate that more than any of them know!
