Tell us a bit about yourself.
Darrius Dawson: I was (still am) your average college science nerd. I always wanted to be in porn but never thought they would take a guy like me. I signed up one day on a Bangbros ad as a joke and well here I am.
What were you like growing up?
Darrius Dawson: I was always the good kid who never broke the rules. I was awkward because of how nerdy I was. I just usually stayed to myself and didn’t break out of my mold till high school. I was still the sand way even then but I was confident in my nerdiness.
How did you start within the industry?
Darrius Dawson: During summer my ex broke my heart. To cheer me up my guy friends dared me to sign up to do porn. We thought it was a joke but the next thing I know I got a call. I was asked to do a Bangbus episode.
How did you create the name?
Darrius Dawson: Honestly I thought I needed a black guy name so I chose Darrius. For the last part, I wanted it to have the same beginning letter to help it sound nice. Literally did a Google search for last names that begin with D and Dawson stuck out. It just stuck with me since.
What do you enjoy most about being a pornstar?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
