Asia Vargas: I am a very calm person, my family has instilled in me great values and education that incline me to be a little special in many aspects, I like to make love with my partner if I have one, not just have sex. I love glamor, fashion, but on the other hand spirituality, cultured and educated people. I get irritated easily when people are not or when they disrespect others. A simple thank you fully demonstrates who you are. I am a writer, model, designer, painter and I studied psychology. I am also a believer, passionate and ambitious. How did you start within the industry?
Asia Vargas: I started in the industry because I was discovered by Ramiro Lapiedra, (the famous Spanish adult industry director), because I am a fashion model in Spain. He proposed to me to start my career as a Pornstar, since I met the physical characteristics that he was looking for and that he considered that I could have a promising career In this industry, he was my representative at the beginning but currently I no longer work hand in hand with him, I have led my career independently, and with the help of very good model agencies.
How did you create the name?
Asia Vargas: The artistic name that I chose had always seemed a striking, elegant and beautiful name, I feel very identified with this name due to my facial characteristics, I am Colombian but my mother has Japanese genetics and my father is Colombian-African, so a part of My is Asian, another African and of course Colombian which is the country where I was born, I have always felt an immense attraction for Asian culture and I suppose it is because a part of me carries it in my blood, my eyes in particular led me to choose this Name.
What do you enjoy most about being a pornstar?
Asia Vargas: Of course traveling, meeting so many people from so many different places in the world.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
Asia Vargas: As a fashion designer, to continue publishing my books since I am a fiction novel writer and one of my books is already published in Spain, and to finish completing my art gallery, since I am also a painter. I don’t think I will last many years in the adult film industry, I plan to stay only for a couple of years, I have other priorities in my life, for me adult cinema is just one more wonderful experience in my life, but it is temporary, My dream is to get very high in this industry, but I also want to see clearly when I should retire, it is certainly not now, since I am just starting out.

Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?
Asia Vargas: Many people around me turned their backs on me, in fact today I am quite a lonely person because of this, but it is my life and it is my rules and I am proud of my decisions, I do not need anyone’s approval, I have the support and love from my family, I don’t need more than that.
What’s the weirdest thing that you’ve been asked to do during a shoot?
Asia Vargas: Never in my life have I been asked to do rimming, I did not even know what it was and in this industry I met that.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?
Asia Vargas: I learn a lot from the directors, most of them are very professional and they all teach you different things, it is like a university where each production gives you a different class and that helps you grow a lot professionally, some directors and actresses also teach and help you a lot When you are new to the industry, and above all, never give up if a scene goes wrong, it is completely normal, you grow and improve over time, no actress or actor was trained in this industry, we all go through different processes, and we all pay hazing.
What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?
Asia Vargas: Fashion, literature, art, psychology, travel.
Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot and if so how did you handle it?
Asia Vargas: Yes, many times, when you cannot connect with the actor, the scene is really difficult, there are incredible actors and others who are simply robots, but it is very simple, I think of someone that I like a lot and I try to imagine that he is one of them.
Do you use sex toys? If so which ones?
Asia Vargas: No, I am very calm in my real life, I have toys because they are gifts that friends or ex-boyfriends have given me at some time but I don’t usually use them, I prefer to read a book or paint a picture in free time, instead of being disturbed, I enjoy more pleasure sexual partner and carnal.
To date which porn scene are you most proud of & why?
Asia Vargas: I recently shot my debut with Blacked Raw, the scene has not been released yet, but it has been one of the few times that I have truly felt like a Star, the team made me feel that way, I even remember that I cried in the Flight back home, I felt truly proud, and I said to myself that day: today I feel that all this has been worth it, so many tears and having sacrificed so many things when entering this industry. Asia Vargas: Ha ha ha, no, never, I prefer romantic and dramatic movie. 🙂
