Tell us a bit about yourself?
April Love: I am 26 years old I’m originally from Canada and I am very new to the industry.
Describe yourself growing up?
April Love: Growing up I was a tomboy I liked to play video games I still do I never really liked school I just liked to play a lot my Childhood was fun.
What are your stats/measurements?
April Love: I’m 5″4 105 lbs 32D.
How did you start within the industry?
April Love: I got recruited from someone who was already in the industry on Facebook and ask me if I ever thought about doing porn and they gave me their agency’s contact information and I contact the agency and then I ended up flying down to Miami.
How did you create the name?
April Love: I was brainstorming names with my agent at the time I came up with April because it sounds like a fun bright innocent name and then after a while I came up with love because I just thought it sounds really sweet and cute.
What do you enjoy most about being a pornstar?
April Love: I enjoy meeting people in the industry I’ve met a lot of good hard working people who have been in the industry for a very long time and I like learning from them. I also really appreciate my supporters. I love doing what I do because of how positive and uplifting my supporters are.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
April Love: Hopefully established in the industry extremely established and having a successful brand. Then maybe retiring after my success.
What’s your favorite sexual position on & off camera & why?
April Love: My favorite sexual position on and off camera would be would being bent over but not necessarily doggy style just bent over and fucked.
Are there any sex acts that you want to shoot?
April Love: I have not yet done anal along with a lot of other sex acts. I am going to eventually experiment some more. I would like to do anal on camera but I am waiting for the right moment.
Which pornstar would you most like to work with?
April Love: I don’t watch porn so I don’t know many porn stars unless I’ve worked with them in the past so I don’t know who I would like to work with in the future.
What would you change about the adult industry?
April Love: I would change the way agents handle certain situations I think the industry is great I think the only downfall to the industry is certain agents and certain sketchy things that agents do however not all agents are like that but there are some who will take advantage of you.
Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?
April Love: Thankfully I have a really cool mom who supports me and is like a best friend she doesn’t judge me because of what I do and I don’t hide anything from her. unfortunately I’ve had friends and relationships that fell apart because of what I do for a living. The stigma will always be there, and I think in a sense when you are doing porn it filters out the people that weren’t meant to be in your life to begin with so if somebody is cutting you off because you do porn they were never meant to be in your life to begin with. It’s also hard to start new relationships with people doing porn because of the stigma around porn they will categorize you or they won’t take you seriously to begin with.
What’s the weirdest thing that you’ve been asked to do during a shoot?
April Love: A lot of my shoots have been very vanilla I haven’t been asked to do anything out of the ordinary however I don’t like to kiss so when I’m asked to make out with the talent because I don’t make out in my personal life either I find that weird for me.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?
April Love: My biggest piece of advice to anybody who wants to get into the industry is to make sure you enjoy sex in your personal life. If you do not enjoy sex to begin with you will not enjoy making porn films. When you enjoy sex you can see it through the camera and the fans can sense your sexual energy. If you feel uncomfortable in a scene fans or anybody watching it can sense it. My 2nd piece of advice would be to be confident in yourself and to have thick skin it’s a tough industry it’s not only about the glam and what you see on camera you have to be very level headed and as long as you are level headed you will have a lot of fun.
Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot and if so how did you handle it?
April Love: I’ve been lucky to not have a situation where I am grossed out so far everything has been going really smoothly thank God.
What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?
April Love: I am very creative I love music, I love to do arts and crafts, I like to go on hikes, bike rides, I love to sleep I like to cook. More than anything my favorite thing to do is to relax.
Do you use sex toys? If so which ones?
April Love: I don’t use toys too often however I do use vibrators sometimes. I’m not a huge fan of dildos I prefer the real thing.
To date which porn scene are you most proud of & why?
April Love: That is a really good question I never thought of that before. I had to pick which scene I’m really proud of I would have to say my first ever girl on girl on film with Girlfriends Films. There was a lot of scripting and a lot of time put into it and and I’m proud of it because I’ve never done girl on girl on film before and I think it turned out OK.
Do you watch porn? If so what type?
April Love: I actually don’t watch porn and I still have yet to watch one of my own films so I couldn’t answer that question.
If you directed a scene what would it be about and who would feature?
April Love: I think if I directed a scene it would be a school girl scene I’m not that creative when it comes to making a film and the porn star I don’t know who the porn star would be because like I said aren’t the only porn stars I know or the ones that I’ve worked with.
If you were interviewing a pornstar what would you ask them?
April Love: If I were to interview a porn star I think my question to them would be how they got into the industry because everyone’s story is always really interesting to hear.
What really turns you on?
April Love: I think what turns me on the most is somebody who is just kind hearted more than anything that’s physical is just somebody who is sweet and caring.
