Tell us a bit about yourself

Chasey Devil: The first part of my name derives from my favorite game growing up at school – Kiss Chasey, which I was great at because few other girls were willing to play. Chasey Devil: Honestly, I never thought I would go down this avenue. I was always the person behind the scenes in regular productions helping with set design, wardrobe and make up rather than being in the spotlight.

Pilates and yoga help with my flexibility as you are often in positions that need to look good on camera, but can be uncomfortable. Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?
Chasey Devil: It hasn’t really affected me, but coming out to some friends is a lot more difficult than others. So far I have had nothing but support from those who know.

Chasey Devil: I haven’t experienced this yet as I am still relatively new to porn. There have been some moments in a bar where Iâve told strangers what I do for a living and their responses always amuse me. First they think Iâm lying as I look âtoo niceâ, and then demand that I prove it by showing photos or my website. Itâs always funny to watch their jaws drop, and then the questions begin. So, so many questions.

Chasey Devil: Be 100% certain you want to do this, it will be on the internet forever and you will never escape your choices. Create your own content to post on OnlyFans, ManyVids, and I Want Clips. Make as much content as you can whether it is solo, BG or GG content. This is also a great revenue stream when you are not working for a company. Remember everything is hard work, it’s not all glitz and glamour and you really have to be dedicated and put the hours in.
Do your own research and be prepared to be ignored when cold calling performers. Some are willing to help, but also realise we get asked daily about how to get started which can be very draining when our advice is disregarded.
Network. Get out to Expos and events like Sexpo in Australia to meet with performers, read production companies websites to ensure you are a right fit for them, be prepared to be rejected by production companies because you don’t fit their aesthetic. The most important thing is, if this is truly what you want to do and are passionate about it, be dedicated and most importantly, a professional. Look after your health and wellbeing. If you do make it big and start making money, treat it like any other business or job. Save, invest, make sensible decisions, because you never know whatâs around the next corner.

What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?
Chasey Devil: I studied Visual Arts in University so love to visit art galleries. I occasionally dabble in drawing, painting, cross stitch and sewing but I have lost a lot of my inspiration which is a shame because it was a great way to while away the days. I am currently also taking Shibari (Japanese rope bondage) classes, which I am thoroughly enjoying.
