Tell us a bit about yourself
Cherry Dana: I’m 33 Years Young I grew up in the coastal town of Newcastle, in Sydney Australia where my hobby during school was dance.
Passionate about dance, I joined local cheerleading squads and managed to get a successful dance career overseas, so I moved to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the innocent age of 19 to be part of the Entertainment Team working at several well known resorts.
I returned home to Australia after a colourful dance career and made the decision to move from the coast to the lights of the big city, Sydney where I pursued a much more provocative career in entertainment as a Lingerie and Topless Waitress full time.
With a warm smile and keeping myself in fabulous form, I quickly grew a name for myself within the entertainment industry and scored again with a fast growing social media following that continues to grow to this day of adoring fans that I have entertained privately and at their events throughout Australia.

How did you start within the industry?
Cherry Dana: I got my start in the Adult Industry here in Australia, as a lingerie and topless waitress ten years ago and posted many photographs and videos of my career in entertainment that captured the imaginations and eyes of many very quickly.
5 years passed with a really large Australian audience and I thought to myself, I could monetise my career without leaving the house. So, I started creating more sensual and nude videos and photos for my fans. Loving every moment of content creation, I did not realise it would soon become the career for life as I continued to build a reputable name for myself in the adult entertainment industry.
How did you create the name?
Cherry Dana: I was once a fiery redhead and in fact the hair product I was using at the time was called ‘Cherry Bomb’, so My Stage Name first was Cherry. Then I needed a last name for social media, most people knew my first name so I decided why not use that as my last name? I had no idea that the name Cherry Dana would become as big as it has become today!
What do you enjoy most about being a pornstar?
Cherry Dana: Freedom to create, freedom to work when I want and freedom to work where and how I want. Nothing is more liberating than the opportunity to create the content I like and have the flexibility to work when, how and where I want; while be admired by people around the world who love what I do.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Cherry Dana: Hmmm… In my personal life, perhaps settle down with kids but for now I am running multiple successful businesses and have my entertainment career and fans to entertain here in Australia and around the world. So… for now I am happy focussing on this and enjoy every day as it comes.

What would you change about the adult industry?
Cherry Dana: One word – Stigma. So many of the people who have supported me throughout my adult industry career, my industry friends and even myself are judged by our association with the adult industry. If I could change anything it would be the stigma that surrounds our industry and how saturated the industry is fast becoming with negatively skewed views.
If we could take just one moment in time to introduce the rest of the world to the fun, healthy and exciting sides of the industry and erase the small amount of negatives that ruins it for us all socially; we would have an even more vibrant and supporting industry.
Have you ever been grossed out during a shoot?
Cherry Dana: No. I think some of the most confronting things I have ever seen have been on the Internet, when I used to embed porn into my site (CherryD TV). Some of the topics and scenes I stumbled across were insane, however like I always say – don’t yuck on someone else’s yum!
Are there any sex acts that you haven’t shot yet but want to?
Cherry Dana: Oooh… good question! I have always wanted to try filming a scene where I use one of those mechanical dildos that does all the work for you. There are a few on the market that you just flick a switch and it fucks you while you lay back and take it how you want it.
Has the stigma around the adult industry affected you?
Cherry Dana: Great question! I personally love what I do and I have never not wanted to do what I do as an adult entertainer, but I have most definitely over the years (mostly in my earlier years when I was just getting my start) struggled mentally with other peoples perceptions of me for my career choice.
So many people are ignorant and choose not to understand the adult entertainment industry and even deny they engage us; projecting their insecurities on people in our industry and myself. It can be damaging psychologically and spiritually over the long term to be exposed to these toxic people. I choose to surround myself with positivity, living my life on my terms and having a lot of fun along the way!
What's the weirdest thing that you’ve been asked to do during a shoot?
Cherry Dana: Haha – Oh My! Well, I am so open minded sexually and liberal minded that I would have to say not much has happened during a shoot that I have thought was weird as I am pretty open. BUT…
On my social media, I have had requests for photos of my belly button. Perhaps I should create a social media presence for it? Haha!
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the industry?
Cherry Dana: Of Course! Personal experience has taught me one major point I think anyone who is considering a career in the Adult Entertainment Industry should be very conscious of –
BE 100% CERTAIN YOU WANT THIS CAREER AND LIFESTYLE.
Once the content is out there in the world it is very hard to erase it and take it down. Anyone considering a career in the adult industry should also not expect that getting nude or sexual content is easy money.
YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL.
Like any business I have started that has become very successful, being part of the Adult Industry requires time, energy and in some aspects money to get you on the right track.
You really need to be mentally prepared to accept that your personal life will become affected in certain areas, different for everyone but you may find that your strike rate on relationships and new friendships will slow down with people who are not familiar with the adult industry.
So… if you really want a career in the Adult Industry be prepared to work hard and you will find that success and happiness will follow in more ways than you can even imagine and the world will open up to you.
What hobbies & interests do you have outside of the adult industry?
Cherry Dana: I absolutely love dancing and one of my favourite styles is the Salsa. The sensual energy and romance of this Latin American style of dance is just so mesmerising, invigorating and liberating.
Spending time with my gorgeous dog “George” is a highlight he always finds way to make me smile on the most difficult days, as well as nights and days out with my fabulous friends for brunch, travelling around Australia and exploring the beautiful beaches – as well as keeping on top of my fitness at the gym.
Do you use sex toys? If so which ones?
